Expertise

Biology

The thrust area of research involves development of magnetic fluid-based hyperthermia for cancer treatment, and in-vitro identification of ionic-liquid based novel anti-cancer compounds and identification of susceptibility markers related to HPV infection and cervical cancer. The research work has been supported by grants from DST-SERB, DST-GUJCOST, ICMR and CHARUSAT. In 2014, participated in the WHO Global HPV LabNet HPV DNA Genotyping Proficiency Panel.
